Hi all!

another book to start :)
Homer, The Odyssey, A verse Translation - Backgrounds - Criticism,
transl. and ed. by Albert Cook, 2nd ed (A Norton critical edition)

thats the translation and some of the additional material I work with
(thank you Dan for asking)

the next thing is about the scenes!

We are now thinking of the following:

* Kalypso = Book V
* Hades = Book XI
* "Home sweet home" = Book XXII-end or XIII-end
* Circe = Book X
* Cyclop = Book IX

this is just a suggestion

What we are looking now is.

- favourite sentences in this book (f.e. I found one in the V: "...he
mourned for a return, since the nymph no longer pleased him. But he slept
the nights with her by necessity ...)

- which characters are necessary

- which scenes can really build a "whole" story.

So let's jump into it.
