actually I like your example of how the play in each mother tongue
can look like
but Kinch point comes back to a kind of "realistic" overlook of the
plot - we have to decide if we can ever hold a realistic overlook in
the play - if not would than a multilingual odysseus stress our
intentions or would this help to confuse the audience even more?
I am still not sure about the understandibility. I mean at the very
first begining we had this discussion if audio files can be
transported well enough. I think now, they can but if I transport an
audio file in a language that another audience does not understand we
have the same sitution again : spoken text can not help to narrate
I think we still have to find out WHAT we want to tell with the
spoken text (I will send some examples of the first scene soon)
hey, I got really fond of the idea of stressing the world wide idea
by using different languages :)

hm, do you really think there will be more people in cyberspace?? I
doubt that - just remember how many came for Net Seduction!
And I also think this project concentrates more on the RL audience at
the moment.
But you are right for sure - the role we can give these audience can
be more experimental and we have more opportunities (which we have to
use - like we know after the NetSeduction experience, where we find
out that instructions for the cyberaudience where missing)

that IS a great idea - yeah let it life!
We only have to make sure that theater is one think and that what
will be left will be perhaps an (cyber)stage ready to use for
everybody.
Have one of you ever been to Rick Sacks Methamorphosis in ATHEMOO? Do
you name this project still "theater"?
