Because of the questions occurring the scenic part of our play (-> Loose
Ends, sound, ...) I would like to propose the following continuance of our
work:

before that a quote :-)
"In order to make a dramatist out of a story-teller who writes for the
stage, it would be a good idea to make him write a few pantomimes. The
pantomime is a good antidote against excessive misuse of words."
(Meyerhold, The Fairground Booth, in: Braun, Meyerhold on Theater, p.124)

Gernot and I have proposed a possible sequence of scenes, and a possible
dialog. At some points the dialog is not finished yet (Cyclops, Fifth
Episode - where Zeus is "typing that much")

Maybe we should now together find a new sequence of scenes and write about
the "how" it could happen. Persons, Movements, closeness of the persons,
fights ...

We could use what we have but we can also find new scenes.

3 possibilities for doing that:

1)
somebody writes a draft of such a scene, sends it tot the list, and the
rest of us send their critics, statements, ideas, ...
After a fixed amount of time the result of this discussion will be
published on the webpages.

2)
an online seminar, where we work out a scene. (maybe having a rough draft
ready for the meeting)

3)
Gernot and me will go over the text a second time and fix a second version
of the play. This scenes will be put together with the scenes of the dialog
version by the listmembers of oudeis-idea so that we will have a "final
version"
Each scene of this final version would be "translated" (as Santiago already
said, by using the conferring translation) in the languages of the venue of
the scene.

Please tell me, which idea you like best.

Furthermore, in any case I would like to arrange an online meeting so that
we could "get to know each other". This idea came up when Lee, Santiago and
me met in the ATHEMOO the last time.

I would propose the ATHEMOO (telnet://moo.hawaii.edu 9999) as a meeting
place at maybe end of January or beginning of February. What do you think
of this idea?

If you are not familiar with ATHEMOO this would also be a good possibility
to explore this room, that is made specially for theater people from Juli
Burk (burk@hawaii.edu).
I will be pleased to explain and help you to get there.

So my last question here is:
which time would be good for you? weekend or not weekend? during the day of
in the evening (your timezone?)
if I have collected this information from everyone, I will try to fix a
date that fits for everyone.

enjoy your days
