Proposal? proposition?
I dont know the right word at the moment ?-/, but I think you will
understand what I mean, anyway.
This is a rough translation of what kis productions sent to Gerfried
Stocker, head of the Ars Electronica.
Dear G.S.,
a performance of oudeis durcing the Ars Electronica 1997 was discussed
intensely on Tuesdays with our world wide partners.
Now we think we have found an answer to the question of realisatioon of
our concept:
It would be possible to show a trial setup in September 1997 (i.e. not a
pre-run, but trying out whether the concept works at all or not) in Linz.
Therefore, the world wide team would meet in Linz, bringing 2 actors and
one representant per venue (Austria, Argantina, Brazil, North America,
Australia, Asia, Africa), Added to those is the artistical team (composer,
texter, stage designer, light designer, web designer, technician...).
The seven stages would be erected (is that rude? no offense meant 8-)
parallely in one location, provided with a light system, and linked
together via the Internet. The question of stage size remains to be
answered.
On these parallel stages, open rehearsals and some scenes will be shonw.
The audience is supposed to get a visual impression of a single stage, but
in the context of _open technics_ and stage linking/network.
