thank you for your patience and your help in deciding the schedule of
how-to-show our work in progress
there is another proposal for show time beginning this autumn:
-------
1st Experiment) MEETING
September 1997 - Ars Electronica, Linz, Austria
* a real staging of 2or3 episodia of "oudeis-a world wide odyssey"
* Meeting of the world wide staff on a real place
* Demonstration of the virtual actor (demonstration of Light concept)
2nd Experiment) TEST 1
October 1997 - Festival in B.A., Museum of Modern Art Rio, Vienna, .....?
Chicago
* Demonstration of a real audio transmission (showing the choros)
* Inclusion of the web stage
* general "try" of the data transmission / lags
3rd Experiment) TEST 2
Spring / late Spring 1998 - beginning local, becoming worldwide
* open rehearsals (2 weeks?)
4th (((Experiment))) PREMIERE
?? September 1998 - Ars Electronica Linz, B.A,, Chicago, Rio, Rome,
Australia, Asia, Africa
* 3 performances
-------
That's what I would say from the organizational point of view.
It is now to ask the technique:
what could be shown in experiment 1? what in experiment 2?
what could be exchanged between those two?
I would see following possibilities (to explain my proposal):
split it into
--- a demonstration of the abilities / limits of the Internet
--- a demonstration of the technical realization of the directing /
artistic concept
disadvantage: in my proposal we would not demonstrate "that much" in front
of a probably big real audience. (1st experiment)
BUT it will give us enough time to try everything out.
---------
How does the time schedule sound for the one who are currently organizing
to get real stages?
What should be added additional ?
What would be the intention to show in every experiment?
What could be shown earlier / later?
