New phases for oudeis

Hi to everybody!
We now finally defined two man phases of oudeis.
FIRST PHASE: "developement" ends in a meeting of our worldwide team at
ars electronica festival, 8.-13.9.1997 in Linz, where we will show a
demonstration of virtual and real actors on two stages (Linz/Linz or
Linz/Vienna).
Until then we hope to have developed the lighting concept and the
technical needs and will have rehearsed two scenes.
The worldwide collaboration continues through the mailing lists till mid
July when the rehearsals (technical and artistic) start in Austria where
we would like to participate physically.
SECOND PHASE: Performances of oudeis on worldwide stages (Chicago,
Buenos Ayres, Rio de Janeiro, Australia, Asia, Austria and cyberstage).
In 1998, with the experiences that we are made in the first phaes =
actual performance of our worldwide odyssey.
We apologize that it's not possible for us to hold the date of opening
our show worldwide in october 1997. We are especially sorry for Felippe
and Santiago who seem to be very far in organizing the stages and hope
that they can postpone those contracts for 1998.
The exact date is still to discuss.
For us it seems that this possibility of localy trying out our ideas
together with you on an international festival brings it closer to a
realisation even if the real performance is shown on a later date.
The sense of this first experimantal performance together with the
worldwide team is also not only to show but also to document the work in
progress and to produce video and other material to show our sponsors.
The work in the second phase will lead to a developement of software and
lighting experiment that will finally be good enough to spread out to
the worldwide stages which wouldn't have been that easy in the short
time till fall 1997.
For the 1998 date we suggest either a performance in spring or in fall.
What is now to organize, is the find artistic and technical developement
and the funding of us coming together in real life.
We made the decision, which is of our point of view essential and
helpful for the project and is as we hope just as you should have done,
and we done it in full responsibility for the project.
It's not the end, it's the beginning of reality for oudeis!!!
