as you all might know in the meantime, we plan to have a meeting of all
participants of oudeis in summer in linz.
Now there came a new idea of how arranging, sheduling and maybe partly
financing this event.
Gerfried Stocker suggested to have our meeting in the forefield of
the festival already, where it would be more relaxed to watch and modifie
the rehearsals.
Furthermore we could have the chance to combine this with a workshop
(which means fundraising in several ways).
Beside the financial means, there are one big question: would you have
time to arrive in linz as soon as for a workshop that goes from august
22nd to august 24th 1997?
The idea behind the workshop is to be discussed as well. Basically it is
to show how we managed to use the new communication media for developing
a theatrical project and how to make experiences in this new space.
The collective work of a theatrical production here seems to be enlarged
to a global collectivity. Theater as cultural Institution has got another
meaning in Information age, and we actively influence this meaning. This
is something we could demonstrate to people that are interested in
learing more about our experiences. Furthermore with meeting face to face
and working on the realization of what we have been talking about here so
intensively will give us our own challenging experience.
Best of all - we could try to get funds for vacation and traveling for
our meeting.
I would like to know if some of you can think of participating actively,
some of you have experiences in works like this, I know. Maybe others
would like to come only for meeting. Please let me know how we can
arrange this and how time fits for you.
