Hi this is your announcement manager speaking again :-)

first of all thank you all who stay in there, work with me, create with me,
as we all know that you (we) havn't seen anything (money) coming out of
this project yet

so let me say: I REALLY appriciate sentences like
>promise i'll be there.

the current status quo of the MMK event

1) we will have another meeting to try the software and speak about the
structure

tuesday june 17th

9.30 PST
11.30 CST
12.30 EST
18.30 CET

we will use internetphone http://www.vocaltec.com
and try out cool talk http://www.netscape.com

As I am not sure if we can organize to have a conferencing system of this
software, we will start with the free download version.
that means :
I will open a channel called oudeis
and ask you, who have

- a pc or mac with Internetphone software
- a soundcard

to JOIN

and will CALL the one of you who have

- a microphone

others - please join us in MOO!!!

2) the (rough / draft) structure of the event

- four pillars with drawings / models of the costumes

- a stage, above the stage a screen (with the oudeis web sites - static or
moving???)

- Master of Cermony will enter the stage (change of the screen - > to the
title of the performance?)

- MC (Master of Ceremony) will speak introductory words + words of homer in
Vienna

(sorry, as I try to keep this event simple and impressive for the audience
in MMK Vienna, so I found no other possibility than the MOO to send
informations to you!)

- than he will call you (probably only one after the other - as we have no
conferencing system) and ask send you a sentence like

"I am Odysseus, son of Laertes"

>The quote then returns as translations transmitted over the net from
world-wide oudeis members.

which mean that you will send speak it into the mic :-)

on the screen the audience will see the Internetphonesoftware and the MOO
window ... in the back the oudeis logo?

- choros part

music from santiago and screen design from sofia and silvina

- two other scenes (calypso + penelope)

duration of the event: half an hour

please be there BEFORE (if possible as early as 2 hours before ) the actual
start

Buenos Aires & Rio, 7 PM Honolulu, 5.00 AM on 27th Melbourne - I am sorry,
at Palais Liechtenstein)
