1)
I will have to outline a short concept for the progress of oudeis focusing
on the ars electronica workshop
-> this should be finished asap, because ars is urging
my suggestion:
main part will be the performance of "Among Immortals" -> with the MC in linz
that will show : creativity, collaboration, theater, Internet, Odyssey,
structure
(have I forgotten something, how to bring in the dispersed performance = 98?)
exact date is
Friday, September 12th
3:00 AM - 7:00 AM Honolulu (again - juli i am sorry)
6:00 AM - 10:00 AM LA
7:00 AM - 11:00 Noon Calgary
8:00 AM - 12:00 Chicago
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Buenos Ayres, Rio
3:00 PM - 7:00 PM Vienna
11:00 PM - 3:00 AM Melbourne
and I would schedule the performance within the 2nd hour! (we have four)
2)
(as suggested by juli) I will write a letter / statement for the local press
and a letter for the committee in government
stressing the points of what worked really good (astonishingly - the
internet connection :) but what they saw is the projector that didn't work
), of what would have worked better (if there had been money), and
describing once again what our creative team consists of
3)
that gives us the following tasks:
outlining (again) what we want to present,
producing a webversion of santiagos animations
regular rehearsings of among immortals:
one within july,
another at least in the last week of august
third on september 11th
problem is that I will move out of Vienna on august 4th - and will be "on
the road" till I found a place to stay in New York.
So I will not be able to organize and work with the "real" master of
ceremony. What do you think of letting MC wander around?
We will have him or her in real in linz,
who could organize a MC in the rehearsals?
-> we than would maybe need a spanish / english / ..../ version of the (now
german) MC text
and I would also like to think of including a real audio transmission of
MC's words ... maybe
4)
I would also love to speak about the MOO mirror of "among Immortals" - what
I get from the logfiles and from what I have heard, this really must have
been striking!
