Oudeis is different + similar.
There is and was no structure in the "personal ressources", meaning that
there are hardly no certain tasks for everybody - but everybody taking
care of the project as a WHOLE.
As work is not delegated, several things happen :
there is the teamwork of oudeis - in the net - , which I think is
great and fruitful for everybody of us
this certainly continues when team members are meeting in real life - I
am curious to hear more about expereiences in vienna - because the roles
of the team members will probably change
BUT the most important thing I wanted to say - that in this particular
kind of doing work , some people end up doing things that are far away
from their usual field, which can be great but can also end in overwhelmness.
Lee has not only taken care of the mesurements of the neon cones :) but
also about the dramaturgicalquestions and conceptual questions
santiago has not only composed great music but also worked on the screen
design
karin - who really grew in the last weeks has becuase of this not only
raised more money/ressources, but also done the publicity and so on
this list can be endless.,
naming juli doing not only email press relase, but also acting and being
contacted with all our MOO concerns
jim, not only taking care of oudeis outlook in the MOO but also about a
parallel event in Canada
...
I dont want even try to name everybody here
what I wanted to say is that one of the fascineting aspects of oudeis is
that it grows wildely ,
that is it not "planned" but "created"
BUT (the big but that we all feel right now) this also eats up ressources
and much of our creative and human power
there is not much I can do about this now but keeping repeating this fact
:) to close with something very personal (as I always have been on this
list , as oudeis IS a big part of my life)
this is one thing I want to learn about more during my Arts
Administration course at Columbia.
How the hell can you make use of all this wonderful ressources and
creativity oudeis team provides without eating team members ?
I am very much looking forward for our friday's after-performance glass
of ambrosia.
And I hopw that everybody _still_ has the power to go trough these final
days.
