this is the point where I'd like to introduce myself: I'm the technical
head of this project (and I'm also the one who is to blame if majordomo
goes nuts). I/we am/are still looking for some "technicians" for this
project. At the moment, the whole project is in some kind of pre-design
stage, therefore I'd like to discuss some hardware/os related topics:
which hardware to use, wich operating system, how many computers for
what purposes, ... etc. one of the next stages is the design of the
communication protocols and software structures.
The whole discussion about technical issues should take place in the
oudeis-tech mailinglist which is open for everyone, here's some
information about this list (if you know someone who might be intested
in this kind of stuff, please forward ...):
