there are examples of non-synchronous music. i can think of cage's late
work, in which he leaves the times free to the musician's will. there's
even a piece for 103 musicians written this way! the works i heard sound
very interesting. feldman also worked with this kind of freedom. in some of
his early pieces no pitches nor times were given, just the number of notes
to be played on each 'time-frame'... and it works, too.

i myself am very interested in this kind of work, that's why i threw that
idea in here. it can be also applied to the texts!
