i'm using the geocities server. the problem is that it usually doesn't work
well (it doesn't broadcast the sound), so what i did was to put the files
in a way that the user downloads the whole piece and then hears it. i
prefer it this way, but it's not good for long things.

i agree with both. the 'event' is the real-time performance, during
something between half and one hour, in the MMK. what's interesting here is
that a 'recording' can be made that shows how the performance was viewed
from the internet point of view (only screens and sounds, no real actors
here). maybe images from the actual MMK performance can be added to this
'recording' later (i'm sure s&s here will like to do it), so we have an
'asynchronous' version of the event that anyone can watch later.
