Hello Mon,

one correction to my foregoing mail: I think it does not make sense
to choose the name of Epimetheus, since this guy simply isn't
involved in the story.

Instead, I would suggest "Hermes", since he is being sent by Zeus to
Calypso's island (after Athena - Odysseus' patron(?) - convinced Zeus
to do so) to tell the nymph to let go of our hero. Further on, he is
charged with the task of bringing all those "godly news" to the
people (so it would make sense to let him speak).

As for "Artemis" (Twyla) - I don't know, she doesn't seem to be
involved either ... the last time she's mentioned in my "Hausbuch
europaeischer Helden- und Goettersagen"(:-/) is on the occasion of
Agamemnon killing one of her deers (and, in order to calm her, was
told to sacrifice his daughter Iphigeny(?)). What about taking
"Athena" instead? (See above.)
