Here's my two cents worth on this. Don't be driven by someone else's deadlines.
Perhaps now would be a good time to consider what the future plans are for
the project both in terms of artististic, technical and production elements.
Artistic - Revisit the story/peformance text. What do you want to say with
the story? Who tells the story and why? What is the concept?
Technical - Does the performance exist through the web? the Moo? Stand alone
Application? Live theatre? If all of the above then how will it work? Maybe
now is a good time to evaluate the last two tests, determine what needs to
be worked on next and determine what should be the next performance or test
= Organize the stages of development (as best you can) and determine what
the next move is. Also imagine (given what you've learned already) what the
ideal performance would look like - that's your final destination.
Production
Once Artistic and Technical areas are further defined then you can see what
venues are available and also put together budgets for the various tests of
the project (I know this part is sooo much fun) then maybe you'll find a
sponsor. You will also be able to find other collaborators. You may also
want to review who's currently doing what right now. Who's on the boat?
Who's in the water?
Oudeis has done two performances in a very short period of time. You all
have pulled it off. Now would be a good time to review and get organized
before embarking on the next adventure.
Bon Voyage,
Dan
