think it's a good idea... the problem there would be to create some
graphical characters that do not look gamish... another kind of virtual
actors, this time _really_ virtual (after all they will be just ones &
zeros).

i think this point is not clear: since we are not going to use a browser we
will not be using the web at all. we will be using *the internet*,
developing our own protocol. as i already said this will free us to develop
our own interface to the virtual theatre, without the constraints browsers
put on us.
i remember there was a discussion about this (mainly about telnet vs. http)
around the time we were in linz. i agree with the idea going around that
the web is becoming some kind of new TV, and would prefer to use the same
technology it uses in a much better way to produce better results.
>> do you technically know how to do it??
i'm sure we can do it with aaron and christian. there is of course quite a
lot of testing to be done, but the basic programming idea (an application
that runs on different platforms, written with the same code) is the idea
behind Java, and there are heaps of info and support for this on the
ubiquitous www.

you should stick to the machine and start to yell: "i'm not leaving!!!" <grin>.
