:-) You can use their software. That's what the evaluation copies are
about. Just don't try to sell it to anyone.

They call their 'hotdog comm suite' the Atrium (below. Nice classical
name, eh?) It's the one for 1400 big American pancakes. They do make a
couple of products for the Mac. Let me suggest a way of looking at
this. (You can just ignore this if you don't like it, ok?) You have a
very professional looking project going here and you require some
function. Vocaltec might have that function; Tribal Voice, the mfgrs of
PowWow might have it. Maybe neither of them has it but knows someone
else who does. Oudeis is not the kind of user that comes into their
office every day. So go to them with just that bit of the storyboard and
say here is what we are doing (look at our home page) and as you can see
we are relying on some form of internetphone product. all we have so far
is a beta version 4 of internetphone (or whatever you are using). Can
you help us? Would you be interested in working with us? We can give
your product a workout. You could use our name, pictures etc in your
advertising. we already have sponsorship from ericsson. would you like
to sponsor us 2? maybe you can work with ericsson. give us an engineer.
Like that. Oudeis is an opportunity for them too. But don't go in the
store like a customer looking for a freebie. Go to the office (i.e., to
the top) and tell them what you are trying to do. They may have
something they are working on that will fill the bill. You know what I
mean? Maybe they can give us our own chat room for the 26th, ie for the
show. If someone with deep pockets smiles at you and says, "How can I
help?" make sure you know where you want to go with it. You probably
know all this already. Just trying to remind you of basics. BTW we have
plenty of time. MMK is just the beginning. Right? :-)

The more sophisticated product will do this I think. PowWow's main
selling point is that you can take up to 9 people on a tour with you or
confer etc.

Just checked. PowWow does not appear to have any Mac support at all.
Monica and Santiago--when you internetphoned one another, what product
did you use?

You may not hear me. These products require a full duplex sound card and
drivers. I have been checking the documentation for my Soundblaster 16
card and can't find it anywhere. But I suspect it is not full-duplex.
Does anybody know about this? What do you have in your Macs?
